This Is Radio Silence first appeared in 2006 as the solo project of SonVer guitarist and former Earth Loop Recall frontman Ben McLees. A 6-track, eponymous EP was self-released in the June of that year, available purely as a 'send me an email if you'd like a copy' CD. (It is now available again as a download from the TIRS Bandcamp page). TIRS did not reappear again until August 2008 when the double A-side single 'The Heart Grows Fonder'/'T.M.N.T.Y.' was released as a free download via the Line Out Records website. Read more on
