There are at least two bands called The Odds. 1. Formed in 1978, The Odds were a British new wave / ska band from Hull, Yorkshire, United Kingdom, fronted by Simon 'Sam' Leyland. Their début single, 'Saturday Night' (1979), was the first release on Red Rhino Records. This was followed by a ska version of 'Yesterday Man' (1980) and a third single called 'Dread In My Bed'.
