Rinalds Maksimovs is a drummer and composer from Rīga, Latvia who combines his drumming with electronic synthesizer sounds. His music incorporates elements of electronic and ambient music, minimalism, avant‑garde jazz, and rock. In his solo work, Maksimovs balances between pre‑composed material and improvisation - both sides play an important role.
