Albertine Sarges (* 1987 in West Berlin ) is a German musician .

Sarges grew up in the Kreuzberg district of Berlin, where she graduated from the Leibniz High School . She studied musicology in Leipzig , Rome , and Berlin . In Rome, she co-founded the band Itaca (now Ostia) with Lo Selbo, with whom she toured almost exclusively in Italy and released two albums. Before her solo career, she worked primarily as a guitarist, keyboardist, and singer in other projects and collaborated with a variety of Berlin-based artists (including Kat Frankie , Holly Herndon , Tristan Brusch , Stella Sommer , and Christiane Rösinger ).
