Jephté Kweto (professionally known as jev.) is a Congolese-Canadian refugee and experimental artist who currently resides in New York City. He considers himself a loner, a theme that highlights the positive aspects of paving one’s own path. Having lived in the Democratic Republic of Congo, South Africa, Canada, and The United States of America, jev lacks a specific home city to pay homage to, instead gravitating toward a more worldly and individualized sense of home.
