Formed in 2014 Brume is a San Francisco-based doom metal band which combines the weight of Black Sabbath's pioneering distorted riffs with the graceful beauty of singers like Björk and Portishead's Beth Gibbons. Initially a trio consisting of Susie McMullan on bass and vocals, Jordan Perkins-Lewis on drums and Jamie McCathie on guitars, with the addition of Jackie Perez Gratz on cello in 2021 they are a quartet now.
