Michael Medrano is an American singer, songwriter and producer from Los Angeles, California. Known colloquially to his fans as 'disco dad', Medrano makes primarily disco and funk-inspired pop and dance music, often with a queer touch. He garnered popularity in 2020 and 2021 with his song, 'Fluids', a funky bisexual club anthem about being sexually fluid. 2022 saw the release of handful of singles from his upcoming debut project, including 'I Don't Wanna Talk About Love' and 'Naked'.
