Yorick van Norden is a Dutch singer-songwriter. Between 2004 and 2013 he was in the band The Hype. Subsequently, as a solo artist, he made four 'McCartney-esque' albums under his own name: Happy Hunting Ground (2015), The Jester (2018), Playing By Ear (2021) and Do It Now (2025). 2018 saw the release of Unsung Heroes, an album of cover versions by Anne Soldaat & Yorick van Norden. They tour together every once in a while, performing songs that are precious to them. A second Unsung Heroes album, Unsung Heroes Too, came out in 2019. Read more on
