Denez Prigent (born 17 February 1966 in Santec, Finistère, Brittany) is a Breton folk singer-songwriter of the 'gwerz' and 'kan ha diskan' styles of Breton music. From his debut at the age of 16 he was known for singing traditional songs 'a cappella', and has moved on to singing his own songs with techno music accompaniments.

He is probably best known for his song 'Gortoz a ran' ('I await') which was chosen by film director Ridley Scott as part of the soundtrack for the 2001 film 'Black Hawk Down'. The other voice that can be heard on this song is that of Lisa Gerrard, of Dead Can Dance.
