The band El Gato Negro takes you straight to Latin America with a popular and festive music, a subtle blend of cumbia, cha-cha, bolero and reggae, lively Latin rhythms and lyrics that are sometimes light and sometimes engaged. Their second album, Cumbia libre, was released in early October 2015, three years after the first opus, Guitarra y sombrero. The group is composed of Axel Matrod, composer; Irina, arrangements; Pablo Congas, percussionist; Yo BigBass, bass player; Blue Benson, trumpet player, and Paco Jones, trombonist.
