Olicía is the band project of the two multi-instrumentalists Fama M'Boup and Anna-Lucia Rupp. They currently live in Berlin and Leipzig. The music of Olicía moves in the field of tension between the human voice, acoustic instruments, free improvisation and the use of modern electronic possibilities. At some point, they gave it the genre name “electronic handmade loopjazz”. Fragmented, electro soul, playful, multilingual global pop, fragile folk moments and an approach to improvisation borrowed from jazz within a fixed structure. Read more on
