The Dutch singer songwriter Jett Rebel was born in 1991 as Jelte Tuinstra. He studied at the academy of music in Amsterdam where he studied the guitar and piano. He was a part of other bands: ‘Valerius’ and ‘Souldiers’ but decided to start making his own music in 2012 and change his name to Jett Rebel.

His first EP ‘Venus’ came out in May 2013 after which he performed at various festivals under which ‘De Zwarte Cross’ and ‘Songbird Festival’. His second EP ‘Mars’ was released in January 2014. Jett Rebel wrote the title song for ‘The Amazing Spider-Man II’.
