In recent years the Austrian baritone Florian Boesch has established himself as one of the finest interpreters of Lieder of his generation. Since the beginning of his career he has performed Lieder widely, and has been invited to the Wiener Musikverein and Wiener Konzerthaus, London’s Wigmore Hall, the International Edinburgh Festival, the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, the Schubertiade in Schwarzenberg, Philharmonie Köln, and the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels.
