Kambrium is a German melodic death metal band. The band was founded in late autumn 2005. The founding members were Nils Peter Töpfer (vocals), Marc Brunke (drums), Julian Schenke (guitar), Jan Hein (formerly guitar, now keyboard), and Martin Simon (formerly only bass, now also vocals). Under this lineup, the first cover songs were rehearsed. However, in 2006, Nils Peter Töpfer left the band, and Philipp Engel took his place in March 2006. Kambrium's first performance took place victoriously on June 17, 2006, in a band battle. Read more on
