New Zealander, but daughter of hippie parents born in San Francisco, Reb Fountain wears her outfit - and her heritage - particularly well on the cover of this magnificent album. She spent time in London and the United States, where she worked as a jazz singer before eventually landing in Auckland, New Zealand. Relatively little known in France, she is now releasing a fourth album which should resonate a little more internationally thanks to her new label Flying Nun Records.
