Open Head is an experimental four-piece ensemble hailing from Kingston, New York, comprising members Jared Ashdown (vocals, guitar), Brandon Minervini (guitar, vocals), Jon McCarthy (bass), and Dan Schwartz (drums). Their music draws inspiration from New York's no-wave movement and the avant-garde history of punk, noise, hip-hop, and electronic music, resulting in a sound that is expansive, rhythmically complex, and features intricate dual-guitar interplay.
