Tia Corine, born Tia Corine Thompson Shults on June 10, 1993, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, is an American rapper and singer. With an African-American father of Japanese descent and a Shoshone mother, she grew up in a musically diverse household, influenced by hip-hop (A Tribe Called Quest, Notorious B.I.G., Aaliyah) and pop/rock (Queen, Sade).
