Meena Cryle aka Meena is an Austrian blues singer and musician. She was nominated for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award in 2013 in the Jazz / World / Blues category. Meena Cryle was born in 1977 as the third child of an electrician in a village in Upper Austria. In her musical family, she grew up with local folk music and began singing early. At 15, she founded a psychedelic blues rock band. After graduation, she worked in a women's home in Mozambique, traveling through Europe and the North of the USA. Read more on
