H-Burns , whose real name is Renaud Brustlein is a French rock and folk singer-songwriter from Romans-sur-Isère.

H-Burns' first musical project is Dont Look Back , a post-rock group of which he is the guitarist and formed in Valencia in 1999. Influenced by Mogwai and Godspeed You! Black Emperor , Dont Look Back released in 2003 his first album, Drunk In Your Arms , on Supersonik Sound. Two years later, the band recorded Brighter , their second and last album, released on the Noise Digger label. It is also on this label that in 2006 H-Burns released his first solo album, Songs from the Electric Sky . Composed of eleven songs, entirely acoustic, it is dedicated to Johnny Cash . Songs from the Electric Sky was released in 2008 by Boxson, with two additional titles: Massacre and Through The Branches . Recorded in a few days, the whole is intentionally raw and stripped
