Ветер Воды (‘The Water Wind’) is a Russian folk-rock band from Moscow. Their repertoire is influenced by historical events, ballads, fairy-tales, magic and romantic old legends as well as traditional European and Slavic music. In their desire to immerse listeners into the romantic atmosphere of the old times from the perspective of a modern person, the musicians combine the uncombinable: Russian and European, acoustic and electronic, academic and folk, modern and ancient.
